Jesus + Friends invites you to be part of something extraordinary – The Jesus March taking place in Durban, South Africa on July 27, 2025 at 1:30 PM.
What is The Jesus March?
The heart of this march is simple – to preach the message of salvation and boldly share what Jesus has done. We’re creating a space where believers can come together to walk in unity, declare the Gospel publicly, and invite others to encounter the love of Christ. It’s not just an event – it’s a movement of faith, freedom, and revival.
Why March?
In a world that desperately needs hope, The Jesus March stands as a bold declaration of God’s love. We march because:
- The Gospel demands to be shared – taking salvation beyond church walls to every person
- Unity in the body of Christ – believers walking together in one accord

The March Route
From uShaka Marine (Outside Wahooz) to North Beach (Near the Skatepark)
Our journey begins at uShaka Marine outside Wahooz, where we’ll gather as one body before stepping out in faith. From there, we’ll march together through the heart of the city to North Beach near the Skatepark.
Along the Way:
- Preaching the Word – Bold proclamation of salvation and the Gospel
- Tract Distribution – Sharing salvation literature with everyone we meet
- Living Testimonies – Simply being present as witnesses of Christ’s love
- Prayer and Intercession – Lifting up our city and its people as we walk
At North Beach: When we arrive at North Beach near the Skatepark, the march transforms into a powerful moment of corporate worship and surrender. Our worship team, who carry the heart of Jesus, will lead us in praise and worship by the ocean – a public declaration of God’s majesty and love.
Fellowship and Food: We’ll be providing food for everyone who joins us at North Beach. This is our way of showing practical love and creating space for deeper connections and conversations about Jesus.
Our Heart for Durban
Durban holds a special place in our hearts, and we believe God has great plans for this city. Through The Jesus March, we’re declaring:
