Learn about how Jesus + Friends came to be and our mission to create a welcoming space for Bible study and fellowship.
Who We Are
As Jesus + Friends, we aim to create a comfortable environment for individuals outside of the politics of church. With this we intend on enabling people to embark on a journey to find Christ for themselves with the help of friends. We believe that salvation is the most important aspect of a person’s life and that the Gospel of Christ should be prioritized. We acheive the latter by doing the following:
Organizing monthly gatherings, usually on the first or second Sunday of the month.
Weekly Bible Studies are hosted live on our instagram page at 7pm.
Weekly prayers are held every Wednesday at 6AM over a WhatsApp call.
We create faith building socials and activities such as Bible reading parties, occasional lunch/picnics, attend events as a group,
hold one on one meetings to give individual attention to people & so much more.
Our principles
Prayer
We strongly believe in prayer. Our group supports each other in prayer by praying together for each other and individually.
Bible Study
We believe the bible is a collection of stories inspired by the Holy Spirit to. The Bible shows us the life before Christ, His earthly life and life after His ascencion, all leading us to understand salvation and support our faith life.
Worship
To Jesus + Friends, worship is central in a believers life. Dedicating the time to sing praises and hymns in acknowledgement of our King is a great way to keep us filled with the Spirit.
